Let me begin by thanking you for checking out my website. If you are looking for a therapist whether for the first time or to make a transition to a new therapist, researching clinicians is key. I encourage all my clients to "shop around" for the therapist they feel a connection with. After all, you will be sharing a lot of personal information with this person so make sure he/she is the right fit. This is the reason I offer a free consultation to get an opportunity to learn about one another before committing to a therapeutic relationship.
I've been working in the field of mental health since 2002 including private practice for over 13 years. I've enjoyed helping a diverse clientele ranging from children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and individuals with disabilities and special needs. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston in 2000 and a Master's of Education in Community/Agency Counseling from Winthrop University in 2004.
I've been a life long Carolina girl and along with my husband of over 20 years, we've raised 3 amazing girls s right here in Simpsonville since 2005. I spend a lot of my time taking care of our new lab puppy (Lila) and our backyard chickens. I love heading back to Charleston for some beach therapy any time I can. I also volunteer by serving on the Session at my home church of Fountain Inn Presbyterian.
Thank you for taking the time to review my website. I would be honored to be apart of your overall mental health wellness journey!
Meet Lila, our newest staff in training!
